About YourAI by BDTren
YourAI is a free Android and iOS app for people who want AI assistants they can customize — not a single shared chatbot in someone else’s cloud. You create named assistants, download a base model to the device, and chat privately. After setup, everyday conversations can keep working even when you are offline.

Why on-device AI?
Most consumer AI apps send every prompt to a remote server. That is convenient, but it means your drafts, photos, and personal context leave the phone. YourAI takes a different approach: inference runs locally after you download a GGUF model. You stay in control of storage, which assistants exist on the device, and when (if ever) optional cloud features are used.
On-device AI is also useful when travel, classroom, or commute networks are unreliable. Download once, then keep chatting without waiting on a remote API quota.
What YourAI includes

Teach & Train in plain language
Cloud chatbots are general. YourAI is built so you can shape an assistant for a job: coding help, language practice, writing tone, study quizzes, and more.
- Customize instructions — change the system prompt and samples without retraining weights
- Add your knowledge — attach notes or documents so relevant text can be pulled into chat
- Train with examples — teach labeled examples when the base model license allows
- Teach preferences — train a reward model on-device from good vs less-good answer pairs
Some training features depend on the model license. Chat may still work when fine-tuning is not permitted for that base model.
Privacy principles
Local chats and downloaded models stay on the device by default. Optional features such as account sync, search, ads (on the free tier), and BYOK authoring use the network only when you use them. Vendor API keys you paste for the Improvement Pipeline are stored on the device and are not kept by YourAI as a training corpus. See our Privacy Policy for details.
